Sender and Receiver

The sender and the receiver should be mounted aligned and away from direct light sources. For optimal through beam capacity let the paper pass the receiver 0 – 5 mm above the lens. The distance between the sender and receiver should be 10 – 20 mm.

To facilitate the alignment procedure the sensor will perform an alignment check at installation. The procedure is automatic and the operator will know exactly when optimal light reception is reached.

The sender and the receiver housing is partly threaded and delivered with an M8-nut, a washer and an O-ring attached. The units can for example be clenched onto a U-shaped cut out with a maximum material thickness of 5 mm.
