IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read all of these instructions and save them for future reference.
• Do not use a damaged or frayed power cord.
• Unplug the unit before cleaning. Clean with a damp cloth only.
Do not spill liquid on the unit.
• Ensure adequate airflow around the unit to prevent overheating.
We recommend leaving a blank 1U panel above the unit to aid ventilation.
• Unplug the unit and refer servicing to qualified service personnel
under the following conditions: If the power cord or plug is damaged;
if liquid has entered the unit; if the unit has been dropped or
the case damaged; if the unit does not operate normally or exhibits
a distinct change in performance. Adjust only those controls that
are covered by the operating instructions. This unit is supplied
with an external power supply dependant on the region in which the
StripOne is purchased. To avoid the risk of fire, replace the mains
fuse only with the correct value fuse, as marked on the plug. The
external power supply unit contains no user serviceable parts. Refer
all servicing to a qualified service engineer, through the appropriate
dealer..
Introduction
The StripOne is handcrafted in Sweden. Built and developed
by engineers for engineers! The all discrete Class StripOne uses
only the very best componentsavailable on the market today. The
extremely user friendly StripOne is a high-end recording channel
strip encompassing an all tube microphone preamplifier that features
input gain, output gain, phantom power, low-cut, phase and direct
out. The all discrete optical limiter of the StripOne features threshold,
output gain, "air" which keeps the high frequencies intact, link
and bypass.
The sound of the StripOne preamp can be described as punchy, natural
and clear. And the limiter as invisible, gluey, super fast, and
if pushed, Beatle'ish and smacky. For that vintage sound, push the
input gain and lower the output gain in the preamp and you'll get
a nice rich and compressed tube sound. By switching of the "Preamp
to Limiter" you can operate the preamp and limiter separate or use
it as an insert between the preamp and limiter.

The StripOne is the ideal choice for the recording or mixing of
a mono signal, whether it's a vocal track or a guitar plugged directly
into the input. And also the abillity to be linked with a other
StripOne for suberb stereo dynamics. The StripOne utilises classic
vintage dynamics and mic preamp solutions and also making use of
new technology. The mic pre featured in the StripOne has a circuit
design based around the old tube. ON OFF POWER 24V AC Made in SWEDEN

The StripOne truly sets itself a class apart with the inclusion
of a vintage optical Limiter , capable of really heavy
compression effects. and a classic analogue circuit designed Mic
preamp .
Rear panel
The StripOne features two balanced (TRS, +4dBu)outputs on XLR jack
connectors, one transmit the signal from the Mic preamp and one
the signal processed by the limiter. There are also two balanced
inputs on XLR jack connectors one for a mic/line in, and one for
a balanced input on the limiter. The balanced output from the Preamp
interconnects (by a switch on the front) to the balanced input on
the limiter for easy strip use or singel divice use. The 1/4"jack
Link connector allows the StripOne to be connected to an other StripOne
for a linked stereo limiter.
